How to get there. Martha’s Vineyard is accessible year-round by ferry. There is also an airport on Martha’s Vineyard that is served by flights from Boston, Cape Cod and Nantucket. Sometimes, seasonal flights are available from Boston, New York and major airport hubs. So no matter where you’re coming from, whether you fly, drive or take a train or bus, you will need to reach the island either by ferry or plane.

There is a lot to see and do on the island, so you will need transportation to get around. Most people prefer to have a vehicle, so they have more freedom to pick and choose when and where they go.
