Favorite Restaurants

Bryan suggests visitors visit 19 Raw Oyster Bar in downtown Edgartown. 19 Raw Oyster Bar opened in 2017 and to give visitors a true oyster bar experience.

Chris recommends Nancy’s, a family-owned waterfront seafood restaurant near Oak Bluffs Harbor. Nancy’s offers both indoor and outdoor dining and four different bars.

Favorite Hotel

Bryan’s and Chris’s favorite hotel is The Winnetu Oceanside Resort, located in Edgartown. This award-winning hotel offers guests numerous complimentary activities, access to South Beach, and the option of staying either in the hotel or a charming cottage.

Favorite Places to Visit

Chris encourages visitors to check out Menemsha, the island’s last working commercial fishing village. Located in the town of Chilmark, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood, the nearby beach, the local fish market, and it’s the best vantage point on the island for amazing sunsets.

Bryan recommends visiting the Aquinnah Cliffs (or “the cliffs” to the locals). These picturesque cliffs on the far western side of the island offer visitors breath taking views of Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands.

Chris recommends Grand Illumination Night. Numerous paper lanterns decorate the cottages during this magical night at the Trinity Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs.
